MOUNTAIN VISTA GIRLS TENNIS

Hello my tennis people! It is almost the best time of the year! Girls tennis season (SPRING 2026) is right around the corner and the coaches will be having an "INTEREST MEETING" next week in the library and I really hope you can make it.
Details:
When: Wednesday January 21st
Time: 3pm-3:45pm (at the latest)
Where: MV Library
If you are planning on playing tennis this spring (tryouts start February 23rd), please attend as we will be going over some important information for the season as well as getting uniform sizes from everyone. If you are unable to make it and plan on playing this season, please email Coach Jordan at jjacob1@dcsdk12.org and let him know so he can add your name to the list. Tennis is a "no cut" sport at Vista and we encourage you to come out and join in on the fun as we have multiple teams. See you there!
Also, just a heads up, we will be having a Pre-Tryout Camp February 17th-20th from 3-5pm at the MV tennis courts. This is an opportunity for any girl that wants to get up to 4 days of tennis drilling in before tryouts. The price is only $50 total. You can come 1 day, 2 days, 3 days or all 4 days (for just $50.) Coaches will be there to help with ground strokes, volleys, overheads, serves and more. It should be a lot of fun! I will send a follow up email to everyone in the next couple weeks for sign up info.
This is not mandatory, just an extra chance to get out there before tryouts and hit a lot of tennis balls with the coaches.
IMPORTANT DATES:
-Spring Registration Opens - February 2nd - please register ASAP after 2/2/26
-Pre-Tryout Camp - Feb 17th - 20th, 3-5pm, MV Tennis Courts - $50 (Weather permitting)
-Tryouts - February 23rd, 3pm
